Congratulations to Scottish athlete Laura Sweeney from Caledonian Taekwondo who won silver at the Keumgang Open in Belgium. She defeated Greek representative for the 2014 European Championships in the first round 8-4, Belgium 13-1 in the second round before narrowly losing 2-1 in the final.
Congratulations to Carla Summerhill on winning bronze at the European Club Championships in Turkey. Carla won her fisrt 2 matches but was beaten 1-0 in the quarters against Russia. ETU Coaching Certificate 12.12.14 Laura Sweeney and Carla Summerhill completed the ETU coaching certificate in Turkey prior to taking part in the European Club Championships. Both are now qualified to coach at the at all G ranked events in Europe.
