Caledonian Taekwondo headed over to Denmark for the Wonderful Copenhagen Tournament on the 15th of August. The team returned with 2 gold and 2 silver medals from 4 athletes. Nathen Kerr who is new to the junior division played 3 matches and used his footwork and tactical skills to overcome his opponents and take the gold. Cadet Caitlin McEneaney had two very strong opening matches but was unfortunately beaten in the final by a taller Finnish athlete and had to settle for the silver. Lyndsay Brown fought an excellent final in the junior -59 division but was unfortunately beaten in golden point, it was fantastic experience for the youngster and another international competition under her belt. Laura Sweeney won her semi final 7-0 then had to wait until the very last match to secure the Senior -53 gold against Denmark.

Despite the small team Caledonian managed to finish 9th team overall.
